Vörðugata 2

Vörðugata is a joint project with architects KRADS, TRÍPÓLÍ and contracting company J.E.Skjanni. It won first price in a competition for a Landmark building for Urriðaholt, a large-scale urban extension on the outskirts of Reykjavík, and the Heiðmörk Nature Reserve.

The project includes 30 flexible apartments, a landscaped garden, grade level- and underground parking.

The role of Egill Sæbjörnsson was to develop a cladding for the building, with walls and columns that cover areas of the three strand building
